Our Mission

The provision of civil legal aid services to indigent persons is an important component of the state's responsibility to provide for the proper and effective administration of justice.  The mission of the Office of Civil Legal Aid is to ensure justice for low income residents of Washington State through the funding and oversight of effective, efficient and responsive civil legal aid services and to ensure accountability for state-appropriated funds dedicated to this purpose.
